Meet Our Team

ABOUT US: Our Team

Matt Parks

Owner

Matt is the brains, muscle & smile behind MVP Truck Repair. He grew up with a passion for trucks and taking things apart. This tinkering ultimately drove Matt to attend North Central Kansas Technical College graduating with a degree in diesel mechanics.

During the day, Matt works as a Journeyman Fleet Mechanic for Evergy in Topeka. In the evenings and on the weekends you can find Matt working with MVP Truck Repair customers repairing anything from light to heavy duty trucks and equipment.

Prior to joining Evergy, Matt worked for Martin Tractor Co., WT Repair and O'Reilly's Autoparts where he gained unique experience working on a wide variety of vehicles and machines. During his time with O'Reilly's he brought a unique skillset to his clients since he had the knowledge and background to not only sell parts but help customers determine what they needed. Today, he offers that same service to some customers who want to work on their own machines.

When he's not turning wrenches you can find Matt having tea parties with his two princesses, Audra & Ryann Parks, and spending time with his wife, Brie. He's active in his community serving as a Big Brother through Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northeast Kansas. He's a graduate of the Leadership Greater Topeka, BEST CLASS INFINITY, class of 2016.

When Matt does make time for himself, he enjoys tinkering with his Kenworth, playing xbox, participating in the Gambler 500 Roadrace and spending time with friends and family.

Brie Parks

Marketing & Finance

Brie Parks has been helping Matt with his side work since 2012 providing accounting and marketing support to MVP Truck Repair.

In her full time professional life she is the Director of Marketing for AE Wealth Management, one of America's rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisory firms.

Outside of work, Brie can often be found toting around her and Matt's daughters to dance or Girl Scouts. She is actively engaged in the Topeka community where she currently serves as the President-Elect for the Junior League of Topeka and has previously held board positions with the Race Against Breast Cancer and the American Advertising Federation of Topeka. She has also spent time volunteering with the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, Let’s Help, Project Topeka and Harvesters.

Brie has been honored as one of Greater Topeka’s Top 20 Under 40 and has also had the great pleasure of being selected to receive the Carolyn Terhune Volunteer of the Year award and Junior League of Topeka’s Active Member of the Year award. She’s a proud alumni of Kansas State University and more recently, Leadership Greater Topeka’s greatest class ever – the Class of 2012.

When she's able to find a free minute, Brie enjoys reading, keeping up with the latest binge-worthy shows on Netflix, going to the movies and spending time with her family.
